Prologue

They say every palace hides ghosts.

But nobody talks about the ones that still breathe.

The storm arrived the same night the blood returned.

Thunder shook the ancient walls while terrified servants locked their doors one by one, pretending not to hear the screams echoing through the corridors.

Because in houses built on power—

silence keeps people alive.

And tonight?

Someone had broken that silence.

Again.

Somewhere inside the palace, a chandelier shattered violently.

A woman cried.

Footsteps echoed.

Then suddenly—

nothing.

Just darkness.

Just rain.

Just the unsettling feeling that something buried years ago had finally clawed its way back to life.

The city would call it an accident by morning.

The media would lie beautifully.

Politicians would smile in front of cameras.

And powerful men would pretend their hands were clean.

But hidden beneath royal gold, luxury, and centuries-old traditions—

a dangerous secret waited patiently.

One capable of destroying kingdoms.

One capable of turning love into obsession…

and obsession into bloodshed.

Because some stories don’t begin with romance.

They begin with fear.

And somewhere in the middle of the storm—

a man with violence in his eyes looked at a girl trembling in silence and realized something terrifying:

he was willing to burn the entire world for her.

Even if she became the reason it burned.

Dear future readers, I'm a new writer on Wattpad, and maybe today my stories are strangers to you. But I have a promise. I'm not here to write characters you'll forget after the last chapter. I'm here to create the kind of people who will stay in your mind long after you close the book. You'll celebrate with them. You'll get angry because of them. You'll cry for them. You'll miss them when the story ends. Some chapters will make you smile. Some will leave you staring at the ceiling at 3 a.m., wondering why fictional characters can feel so real. If you decide to give my stories a chance, don't expect perfect people. Expect unforgettable ones. One day, I hope you'll recommend my novels not because I asked you to… …but because you couldn't stop thinking about the characters. Welcome to the beginning of an obsession. I hope you're ready. 🖤
